January 29th marked the start date of the nation's 2024 tax season. The attached files are to inform taxpayers how they can obtain IRS assistance, prepare for filing and choose a tax preparer, determine eligibility for refundable tax credits and protect themselves from tax-related identity theft.
These are important tax credits that can equal large refunds for working families in our school district. It is not too late to claim the 2020 and 2021 Recovery Rebate Credit for those who may not have filed returns for those tax years.
